Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Chris and I rented Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The New Beginning, last night from Netflix. I had seen it in the theatre when it came out so I wanted Chris to see it. I really liked it a lot. Blood and gore bring it on. Chris, however, thought it was 'okay'. He disappoints me sometimes. :) I guess he isn't a horror movie fan like me. He's lucky I love him :)

I'll never forget that face

When The Ring came out, I was told that this movie was scary as hell and that I wouldn't evem want to turn my tv on for a while after I watched it. Well, I actually ended up falling asleep the first time I watched it. I hate it when someone tells me how good a movie is going to be so I have such great expectations for it, and then it's not even close to what I thought it would be. That was The Ring for me.

However - yes there is a big however here - I watched the movie again at a later date in a hotel room and then fell asleep shortly after. Now, I haven't hallucinated much in my lifetime, but I certainly did that night. I woke up in the middle of the night, and I was fully awake. I'm sure of it. Right beside me, I saw the little girl, Samara Morgan, in that white gown, that horribly disfigured face, and the long black greasy hair. It freaked me out! I buried my face in my pillow and eventually went back to sleep. I was old enough to know it wasn't real and it was all my imagination, but it didn't mean I wasn't scared as hell. Imagine seeing Samara standing right beside your bed the minute you wake up. *shivers*

The Happening

I'm not easily freaked out by movies, but 'The Happening' actually did it for me. Certain parts of that movie made me dread walking through my house in the dark. I love horror movies!!

Ah Ah Ah Ch Ch Ch

Who doesn't love horror movies??? Okay, probably a lot of people, but I'm not one of them. I love scary movies. I own all of the Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm st movies. Completely loved Freddy Vs. Jason! I also am a big fan of the Saw movies and Hostel 1 and 2 totally rocked. My boyfriend and I just joined Netflix again so we'll be renting some more. Yay!
